This high-output metal halide fixture is designed to meet OSHA requirements for minimum illumination of work areas when properly installed. The Woodhead 400-Watt High Bay Light provides more light than two 100' temporary stringlights and is much easier to install.

Hazardous Duty Wide Area Lighting

Task lighting in hazardous locations demands the utmost care. Woodhead's HAZTEX® portable hazardous-duty wide area purge light actively prevents the entry of explosive vapors into the unit by continuously purging potentially dangerous gases from the fixture. It is certified by CSA for Class I, Division I, Groups C&D (flammable gasses and vapors) and Class II, Division I, Groups F&G (ignitable dust).
